  • Join a reputable not-for-profit in this engaging opportunity to be a Groups Coordinator for the Aged Care community!
  • Dynamic role; Located in Sydney Central, Glebe 2037, and Eastern Suburbs; Bondi & Maroubra
  • Hours are flexible from 30-35 hours per week with ABOVE AWARD pay rate up to $45.87 ph + Super + Packaging, dependent on experience levels
  • Contract role to June 30, 2024, with possibility of extension

What the role is about

This is a hands-on, organisational and planning style role to develop and manage group-based activities and social outings for the aged community.

  • Plan, organise and manage the group social support services to meet contracted outputs
  • Coordinate all travel and venue-specific logistics and ensure resources are allocated correctly
  • Ensure planned activities are in accordance with individual care plans, safety and quality standards, and policies
  • Engage with volunteers and staff to manage rosters and schedules
  • Work alongside marketing to promote services within the community
  • Provide support for volunteers in relation to ongoing training, communications, and engagement
  • Undertake risk assessments for new venues
  • Continually review client feedback and refine services as needed

  • Ability to problem-solve and take initiative
  • Flexibility to jump into tasks or services where needed, and move between sites to support the successful running of activities
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work within a planning framework alongside team members

Essentials we need

  • Current, unrestricted Australian Drivers License
  • COVID Vaccinations including boosters, due to industry requirements
  • Access to your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
