About the Role:

The Digital Fundraising Team Leader will drive revenue through fundraising activities across Individual Giving, Campaigns & Community Fundraising, and will ensure online engagement and digital acquisition of supporters across various digital channels.
This position is responsible for creating and implementing innovative strategies for digital channels, including website, email campaigns, Google Adwords and digital advertising.

This role will suit someone who is an expert in digital best practice, has an interest in leading a team and has strong stakeholder relationship skills to work with teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and implement effective strategies, utilising best practice for digital integration across all fundraising channels
  • Lead the digital team’s development of new income streams from conception to implementation
  • Manage the Fundraising Digital Specialist(s) to develop and deliver dynamic copy, graphic and video content for digital channels
  • Collaborate with the Individual Giving and Community Fundraising teams to drive integrated digital acquisition, including lead development strategies
  • Successfully manage income and expenditure budgets
  • Ensure development and continuous improvement of online processes to support fundraising activities, providing expertise across digital fundraising channels.
  • Implement mechanisms to enable effective reporting and reviews to reach financial targets
  • Keep up to date with best practice fundraising techniques, technologies, products and platforms to implement innovative ways to attract new supporters
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including creative and media agencies

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience in digital marketing and/or raising Fundraising revenue through digital channels in a not for profit or agency
  • Proven history working across multiple digital channels including email and tracking/analysis software
  • Proven success in end-to-end campaigns from concept and creative through to execution and analysis
  • Confidence to build relationships and manage internal and external stakeholder
  • High attention to detail, time management and project management skills
  • Results orientated and motivated to put creative ideas to practice
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with digital platforms including Campaign Monitor, Microsoft Dynamics, Facebook Business Manager and Google or similar
  • Experience with Google Analytics also preferred
  • Relevant technology skills required to prepare presentations and analyse data to construct reports
  • Interest in working for a NFP charity in a dynamic and innovative team
