About the Role

The Digital Content Coordinator role will create, curate and distribute high quality digital content to improve value and deliver exceptional donor-care experiences for current supporters & prospects. This role measures performance and produces insights to optimise online content and digital experiences to build the profile and drive a diverse growing audience.

The Digital Content Coordinator will be a true creative with the ability to produce and deliver written content for web, email, SEO, Google products, paid and organic social media, SMS, messaging apps and digital content assets, including videos and photography, to meet digital fundraising targets across revenues streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop ideas for the development of lasting and remarkable donor journeys
  • Plan and create digital content, aligned with higher-level objectives, across the entire Fundraising portfolio to more than 1M donors
  • Building lasting & meaningful experiences through email, SMS, social – organic and paid, website, content marketing, optimisation, texting apps and more
  • Create remarkable content with copy, video, photos and more
  • Collaborate with & learn from top-fundraising-talent across our department in areas such as Regular Giving, Appeals, Gifts in Wills, P2P,, Gala Events, Community Fundraising, Major Donors and Planned Giving
  • Access data and analytics that will allow you to make the best possible informed decisions for your creative development
  • Learn and think-tank with the Digital Fundraising Team ways to use technology to drive personalised and more efficient experiences to donors

Skills & Experience

  • A relevant marketing, digital marketing, communications degree and / or similar
  • Experience in producing and optimising content with Fundraising intent is desirable
  • Proficient in implementing written and visual content across Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Email and SMS platforms
  • Driven by innovation, data and digital analytics in your creative development
  • Able to delight audiences with personalisation, segmentation, helpfulness, donor-centricity, and automation
  • Ability to report with meaningful insights from data on content performance
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills, good reporting on progress and challenges, able to follow guidance and produce deliverables for a campaign’s Consumer Journey Map (CJM)
  • A passion and desire to work for a charity organisation
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and /or similar programs
