About the role:

As the Database specialist you will be reporting directly to the Senior Fundraising Manager.

You will be responsible for the management of their CRM (Salesforce) and play a critical part in the operations of donations and database management and support in the organisation.

  • Ensuring best practice use of Salesforce across ReachOut, maintaining security, privacy and integrity of data and donor information
  • Maintaining the integrity of the data, ensuring information is protected and backed-up
  • Monitoring database performance and making recommendations for improvements
  • Developing and maintaining systems for automated uploading of donations from 3rd parties
  • Maintain timely/accurate reconciliations of donations with the finance team
  • Support staff queries and ad-hoc troubleshooting with Salesforce/donations processing

To be successful in this role, you will have:

You will be motivated, solutions-focused and happy to collaborative in a small team.

  • Strong skills in Salesforce database administration (exposure to fundraising/donations processing will be highly regarded) – certifications are not a must-have
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and coordinate across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to understand business needs and provide recommendations on how Salesforce can support these now and into the future
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • The ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
