ABOUT THE ORGANISATION AND THE ROLE

Our client is a national charity helping Australian children living in disadvantage to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. The organisation is rapidly growing, and this is an exciting time to join the corporate partnerships team. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and enthusiastic partnerships specialist who is driven by developing new partnerships.

This exciting role has been created due to ongoing growth of their Corporate Partnerships portfolio. This person will establish new relationships with corporates through new business development activity and through developing existing leads. Working in a collaborative Fundraising team, you will develop a portfolio of multi-year, high value brand-aligned partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the wider partnerships team to develop and implement a strategy for new business, which includes identifying, pursuing, and confirming financial and in-kind partners for the organisation
  • Manage the full new partnerships cycle from prospect research, relationship development through to contracts
  • Identify and uplift opportunities for all existing partnerships. This may include sponsorship, workplace giving and support and participation across multiple campaigns
  • Develop engaging, inspiring cases for support, pitches, and presentations
  • Develop relationships with high level contacts across a range of corporate partners
  • Build a diverse portfolio of partnership opportunities
  • Review and evaluate progress on a regular basis and ensure actions from all parties are completed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven success within a similar new business focused role and a true passion for building new relationships with corporates
  • Ability to develop innovative and creative pitches and proposals
  • Inspiring presentation style and a passion for presenting
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Highly organised and a proven ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office suite and CRM databases
  • Motivated, innovative, and dynamic team player
