We are excited to partner with One Door Mental Health (ODMH), a leading for-purpose service provider for people living with mental illness, their families, and carers. ODMH uses an approach called Recovery 2gether that provides a simple, clear, structured, support-approach for: consumers, carers & families; staff; and the whole organisation.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead you will communicate a vision for high-quality mental health services, generating es enthusiasm and commitment from the team. Bringing your experience and knowledge to develop easy-to-use strategies that build buy-in and support from key stakeholders. A clinician of excellent clinical standing in their area of expertise and be passionate about:

  • Creating the conditions for enhanced support outcomes, and
  • Improving the experiences of the people ODMH support.

In the role you will be responsible for

  • Leading and maintaining effective clinical governance and quality across ODMH
  • Facilitate a culture of trust and delegated authority to achieve continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Support Hub Leads and the Executive Leadership Team to ensure linkages and synergies of work
  • Draw on influence and change-management expertise to progress the work of the organisation; internally and externally.
  • Follow recovery principles and trauma-informed care.
  • Lead ODMH’s clinical governance committees, responses and stakeholder/workforce initiatives to align with ODMH’s Recovery 2gether Framework;
  • Lead processes to ensure clinical advice, supervision and audit requirements relating to ODMH contracts, programs, staff and the people ODMH support; ensure implementation, review, and adaptation.

A bit about you

To have success in the role you will be led by an ongoing willingness to learn and develop practice excellence across clinical services. You will enjoy collaborative working environments where you can create meaningful partnerships to make a real impact.

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading clinical or multidisciplinary teams with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a health discipline, such as Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing and registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant body.
  • Extensive experience in leading operations of an adaptive business in a mental health, community or disability service setting.
  • Values consistent with purpose-driven ways of supporting teams and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, implement and manage clinical governance, quality, and accreditation standards, at a senior management level; in a complex mental health, human or social services organisation.
  • Previous experience in applying recovery principles and person-centred supports to people living with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Well-developed influencing and change-management skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate employees at all levels of the organisation to engage in a culture of continuous improvement
  • A valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and a full vaccination against COVID-19, including booster (as per government mandate)
