Beaumont People are pleased to be partnering with The Nature Conservancy (TNC). Founded in 1951, this global conservation organisation is dedicated to conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends. Guided by science, they create innovative, on-the-ground solutions to our world's toughest challenges so that nature and people can thrive together.
The Nature Conservancy first commenced operations in Australia in 2002. Since that time TNC Australia has grown significantly and now conducts projects in all mainland Australian states and territories. They are tackling climate change, conserving lands, water, and oceans at an unprecedented scale, providing food and water sustainably, and helping make cities more sustainable.
This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team as they invest in their Fundraising programs and activity across Australia. Being part of a global network offers you access to peer relationships, where you are encouraged to share, develop, and learn best practice fundraising together.
Reporting to the Director of Development, you will work closely with the wider development team here in Australia, Hong Kong, China, and the Asia Pacific Region to deliver and secure philanthropic gifts with a key focus on major donor gifts and trusts and foundations.
The Associate Director of Development (ADOD) is responsible for building a national portfolio of qualified major donor relationships. You will be a passionate and engaged relationship fundraiser who can apply the principles of fundraising by embracing sophisticated approaches to develop donor strategies.
You will be seeking support for international conservation needs as well as their four domestic focuses:
