About the Role:

To assist the development and administration of Black Dog Institute Salesforce system to ensure the design and functionality meets the requirements of the organisation and its users. This involves overall management of the user training program and providing technical support. Core capabilities include Salesforce administration, project management, communications skills (written and oral) and stakeholder relationship management.

Key Duties:

  • Perform Salesforce admin activities including basic system configuration, creation of custom fields, modifying record types, page layouts and related lists.
  • Develop system architecture for new functionality and oversee its implementation.
  • Provide advice and input on proposed solutions. Work collaboratively to achieve project outcomes and resolve system issues.
  • Coordinate project implementation with internal resources and Salesforce vendor.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and Salesforce vendor.
  • Development and communication of project methodologies and tools.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to review business processes and recommend system enhancements.
  • Create test plans for testing web applications developed by the Salesforce vendor.
  • Conduct User Acceptance testing for testing web applications developed by the Salesforce vendor.

About You:

The successful candidate will have the following:

Essential Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent).
  2. 2+ years of experience with Salesforce.com setup and configuration.
  3. Proven track record of providing quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated ability to design and develop interactive, engaging training for internal stakeholders.
  5. Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with a variety of internal/external stakeholders through excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
  6. Proven ability to work independently with a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Demonstrated effective time management and organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt as necessary to the demands of multiple projects.
  8. Knowledge of EEO principles and OH&S responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant OH&S training.

Desirable Criteria

  1. Salesforce administrator certification or previous Salesforce implementation experience is highly desirable
  2. Previous project management experience highly desirable.
  3. Competence in using TEAMS and ZOOM technology, alongside the latest interactive online tools.
  4. Previous experience of working in a not-for-profit organisation.
