Job Description

About the Role:

Sitting within the BDI Service Implementation directorate, this role supports the development and implementation of effective engagement strategies that promote the real-world uptake of BDI’s services including digital programs such as Bite Back, and non-digital services such as training workshops and volunteer led presentations. This role supports the effective integration of these programs into Service Implementation activities. In addition, this role will support the implementation of quality enhancements to digital services, engaging with a range of other BDI work streams including Digital Transformation, Marketing and Communication, Research, Strategy and Operations.

Key Duties:

  • Support the effective integration of BDI digital services across relevant Service Implementation work streams, through sound knowledge of how products work, their target audience, development background and associated evidence/evaluation.
  • Support the implementation of engagement strategies associated with BDI’s publicly available services. Activities may include the coordination of competitions, contributing to social media campaigns, electronic newsletters and attendance at conferences.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications team to produce effective marketing activities including social media advertising campaigns.
  • Monitoring of digital service usage patterns and reporting of agreed program metrics such as uptake and reach.
  • Develop and build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and delivery partners who can support the dissemination of BDI services.
  • Contribute to key feedback loops with relevant BDI work areas to ensure real world feedback and observations relating to BDI services are shared and disseminated.
  • Support internal quality assurance, safety and evaluation processes. Activities may include the distribution of user surveys, coordination of user focus groups and reporting usage patterns and end user feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with Digital Transformation and other product experts to design and implement quality enhancements to BDI digital services.

About You:

The successful candidate will have the following:

Essential Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g health science, public health, psychology).
  2. One to two years minimum demonstrated experience in customer service, building effective networks and managing relationships with external organisations.
  3. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, ability to plan and prioritise workload, meet deadlines and see tasks and projects through to completion.
  4. Experience producing and/or delivering product/program implementation and engagement strategies.
  5. Proven team player and ability to work autonomously and with initiative.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability building and/or maintaining productive working relationships.
  8. High level computer literacy including MS Office suite.

Desirable Criteria

  1. Experience in the mental health and/or not for profit sector.
  2. Project management training or practical experience with managing projects.
  3. Experience with digital health apps or programs.
