We are an innovative, family oriented, experienced organisation looking to welcome enthusiastic, outgoing and dedicated Early intervention Educators. Early Intervention Educators work one on one with children with autism and related disorders to deliver an individualised education plan based on the Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) curriculum. Each child’s education plan is designed to teach language, communication and cognitive skills with an interactive and fun, play-based structure (particularly for younger children). Educators work primarily in the child’s home, but also in Early Education and School based settings. The curriculum for each child is designed by the Senior ABA Practitioner who supervises the program and provides ongoing training and development to Educators as well as families.
Educators will play an important role in an intensive Early Intervention Education Program. You will join a team of energetic team committed to improving the child's language, communication, cognitive, play and social skills using teaching methods based on positive reinforcement.
The successful applicants must enjoy working with children, be dependable, outgoing and excited about helping a child reach his/her potential. Applicants must have excellent written and spoken communication skills and conduct themselves with a high degree of professionalism.
Psychology students are highly desired and encouraged to apply.
