We are currently seeking a full-time, fixed-term for three years staff member to join our team based at our great office in Sunshine.

The role

Reporting to the Sustainability Coordinator, we are seeking a Climate Emergency Officer who can bring their skills and experience, and climate emergency perspective to:

• Support our community to take practical actions to drastically reduce community emissions, adapt to a changing climate, and realise the health and wellness, economic, and other benefits of climate friendly living.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Local government experience is desirable
• Experience in community campaigns and organising is desirable
• Experience working with diverse communities to achieve practical results is desirable
