The Being Herd program at batyr trains and supports young people to build the skills and confidence to share lived experiences of mental ill-health and their journey reaching out for support. The Being Herd Speaker Engagement Coordinator will be based in Sydney and will work closely with the Being Herd NSW, NSW and national Being Herd teams.
The role will primarily be responsible for supporting the engagement, training, development, staffing and wellbeing of our speakers. The role will also assist with the delivery of Being Herd workshops, and our Speaker Development program. The Being Herd Speaker Engagement Coordinator will also support the quality management of speaker engagement nationally, and will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our national speaker engagement strategy.
This role will report directly to the Being Herd Program Manager based in Sydney.
All candidates will need to hold a current Working with Children Check and Police Check, or be willing to obtain these within one (1) month of starting the role.
