About the Orange Door

The Orange Door in Geelong provides a new way of supporting women, children and young people experiencing or at risk of family violence and has changed the way services work with women, children, young people, families and perpetrators of violence. The Orange Door team members are an integrated, collaborative team from The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre, Bethany Community Support, Colac Area Health and Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to scope professional development and training to build the capability of the Barwon Orange Door workforce. This will support the delivery of integrated functions and services responding to family violence, child and family vulnerability and functioning, and perpetrator interventions, in line with the Orange Door Service Model and Integrated Practice Framework. This position is part time (0.5 FTE) fixed term for 12 months.

About You

You will be a values driven person, motivated to make a difference and you hold the client at the centre of everything you do. You thrive working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, team environment. A highly qualified and experienced family violence specialist, you will have qualifications in psychology, social work or a related field and have proven experience in practice leadership and building capability.
