About your new role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join our dedicated residential team in Mundaring. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions, enabling them to live full and meaningful lives. This means overseeing medication management and clinical incidents as well as ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will lead the care assessment process to ensure the holistic needs of individual residents are clearly identified. 

Your role also includes

  • Reviewing, mentoring and rostering of new staff 
  • Assisting with budget planning
  • You will actively participate as part of the local leadership team in quality activities while assuring compliance with the Aged Care Standards and Outcomes.
  • Carry out clinical staff performance reviews and assessments on an annual or as needed basis

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience at a senior clinical care level working in aged care
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the ageing process and health
  • Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support
  • Sound understanding of care assessment and provision within the Aged and Health Care sectors
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccination
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medial
