About the role

Your willingness to help others will see you engage and build rapport over the phone and email with customers, carers, referrers and family members, to ensure BaptistCare becomes their provider of choice. Demonstrating an understanding of all BaptistCare services/products and the aged care system, you will respond to all types of phone enquiries and provide follow-up action according to KPIs.

About you

  • Excellent phone manner and ability to empathise and meet the needs of customers
  • Strong customer service skills (minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service OR similar role)
  • Understanding of the Aged Care sector is desirable (not essential)
  • Fast learner, strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Must be able to work within the hours of 8am to 6pm (7.6 hour rostered shifts)
  • Willingness to be trained in Mental Health First Aid
