About the Role:

Our Aged Care facilities provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment for care recipients. Westhaven Community is located in Footscray. We are looking for competent and caring Registered Nurses for casual or permanent part-time positions. You will be required to provide our care recipients with an optimal level of care whilst considering their dignity, comfort and quality of life.

Duties Skills & Experience:

• Supports the Unit Manager in the delivery of Resident centered care: assessment, planning, documentation and evaluation
• Implement the intervention/s identified in the plan of care for each Resident & ensure the residents' response to these directives is evaluated, communicated & documented in the progress notes
• Facilitates a clear communication system between all members of the team & leads by example to promote a professional, compassionate approach to care
• Demonstrated experience of at least 1 year aged care or relevant nursing experience
• Commitment to keeping up with current professional practice and knowledge of industry standards
• AHPRA registration
• ACFI documentation
