About this role:

The primary purpose of this max term contract role (to June 30 2023) is to support to the Residential Aged Care (RAC) business reporting directly to the Divisional Manager. The Project Director role is responsible for the leadership of subject matter experts and key stakeholders to ensure that projects are supported with the appropriate services in the RAC team to enable the successful transformation of Baptcare’s Aged Care model. The role will provide a strong focus on compliance, efficiencies and creating positive change for our workforce to uphold service excellence for our consumers.  Developing a communications strategy and overseeing the implementation for individual projects, this role will be central point in managing relationships with key stakeholders and deliver effective project management to improve existing contractual arrangements.

Reporting to the Project Director is the Project Coordinator who is your right-hand person to support the actions and execution of the project on the journey.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualified with 10+ years in senior leadership/project management roles
  • Effective communication within team and with key stakeholders, within a complex major project’s environment.
  • Appropriate contemporary Project, Financial, Commercial and Risk Management tools and systems.
  • An outstanding record of achievement in support of major projects.
  • A proven track record in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and liaising with all levels of senior managers and executives and effectively negotiate and influence stakeholders with competing priorities and views.
  • Proven technical, financial, commercial, risk and contract management expertise.
  • Exceptional advisory, negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Conceptual, flexible and Analytic Ability
  • Builds trust through consistent actions, values, and communication
