About the role:

We're looking for experienced casual and part-time Personal Care Workers who are comfortable with driving in between our client's homes.

You'll be providing a range of care services including personal care, housework, shopping/transport, meal assistance and preparation, medication supervision, according to each client's care plan. Our clients are in and around the City of Banyule - Northern suburbs & Eastern suburbs.

Duties, Skills and Experience

  • Hold a minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care or Cert IV Disability or Nursing qualification
  • Hold a current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a recent Police Check within 12 months specific to working unsupervised with vulnerable people or be willing to obtain one
  • Must have own roadworthy vehicle, Australian Driver's Licence and own mobile smart phone (please note - International Drivers Licence is not acceptable for these roles)
  • Must have had or be willing to get a flu vaccination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and intermediate computer literacy
