Baptcare is a purpose driven and faith-based organisation working across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, providing residential and community care for older people and support to children, families, and people with disability, financially disadvantaged people and people seeking asylum.
The Kinship Care Case Management program provides case management and support to Kinship care placements made by Dept. of Health and Human services (DHHS) Child protections. The case management and support practitioner will provide support to Kinship carers, children and young people who most vulnerable and can present a range of complex behaviours and issues.
A key focus of the role is to work in partnership with Child Protection and other support services, as well as children, young people, carers and birth families to provide a holistic trauma informed service using the Best Interests Case Practice Framework.
