We are currently looking for a qualified Massage Therapist to join our team- permanent part-time (2 days/week).

Banksia Palliative Care Service (Banksia) has a dynamic team of health professionals who together make a difference every day to the community we care for. Our service covers the North-East region of Melbourne; council areas of Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a strong, passionate, experienced Massage Therapist with a strong team mentality and a passion for providing the best care to palliative patients and their families.
• Possess a clear understanding of palliative care and community health;
• Provide evidence of completion of relevant qualifications in massage therapy;
• Preferably have experience in palliative care massage, or minimally have experience providing care in the health sector;
• Have a current and unrestricted drivers licence and permanent Australian residency (all essential);
• Understand that a current working-with-children certificate and a national police check are mandatory requirements for successful employment;
• Be motivated by working as part of a cohesive, respectful and dynamic multidisciplinary team;
• Have a demonstrable ability to work efficiently and effectively unsupervised while maintaining accountability;
• Be willing to adhere to all Banksia policies and procedures, and will strive to support the achievement of the Banksia vision and mission, while exhibiting the Banksia values.
