We have a 12 month contract opportunity for a Team Leader Lending Operations (Grade 2) to join the Lending Operations Team in Bendigo. This position leads the team with responsibility for achieving agreed team performance targets, providing leadership, identifying training requirements and providing coaching to the Lending Operations team. The Team Leader Lending Operations motivates staff through change effectively, efficiently and in accordance with Bank Australia’s policies to provide quality customer service.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and motivate the Lending Operations Team to achieve Bank Australia’s goals
  • Ensure the Lending Operations team comply with Bank Australia operating policies and procedures at all times
  • Keep Bank Australia teams fully informed on matters which affect the delivery of Operation team services
  • Supervise the Lending Operations Team, monitor workflows and adherence to targets
  • Ensure appropriate training plans are developed and training is delivered
  • Act as a mentor, and pro-actively assist consultants in achieving individual and corporate goals
  • Coordinate and run team and individual meetings
  • Monitor all processing work of new Lending Operations staff
  • Deal with complaints and more difficult issues raised by internal customers and provide support to the Manager Lending Operations as required
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Lending Operations products and services in regard to delivery and the identification and development of new systems, processes and procedures
  • Provide timely, accurate and appropriate performance reporting to the Manager Lending Operations, Head of Operations and Chief Operating Officer.
