We currently have a permanent, full time, opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Lead to join our Finance team. This position has one direct report and supports the Finance and Risk team to ensure Bank Australia is compliant with regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Review and prepare accurate and timely regulatory reports
  • Develop DataMart business requirements and reports to support regulatory reporting requirements
  • Develop, review and maintain compliance plans for APRA standards
  • Liaise with internal and external teams and regulatory bodies regarding regulatory reporting
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, contributing towards working groups and participating in the Banks data governance initiatives
  • Contribute to the implementation of a number of projects driven by APRA’s reform agenda
  • Manage and support the delivery and development of one direct report
  • Provide regulatory reporting and advice across the Bank.

What you will bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in commerce, accounting, economics or other discipline
  • Banking experience in an APRA regulated ADI which should include experience in regulatory reporting
  • A strong understanding of APRA prudential standards, practice guides and reporting standards
  • Thorough understanding of business process, control and best practice
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • An ability to problem solve and make informed decisions in a timely manner
