We currently have a full time, 12 month contract Business Process Analyst opportunity in the Projects team. The role of Business Process Analyst is to support the delivery of various projects related to Bank Australia’s corporate strategy. Working within a dynamic group of stakeholders across the business, the Business Process Analyst will support the successful implementation of various projects within the agreed scope, timeframe and budget.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document business requirements
  • Assist embedding a new discipline around process mapping and procedure documentation
  • Develop and deliver presentations to audiences comprised of all levels of technical competence and understanding
  • Provide process improvement and reengineering recommendations
  • Assist in gap analysis to identify issues and propose solutions
  • Develop detailed business analyst artefacts that can be interpreted by any implementation partner
  • Develop user guides and deliver training as necessary
  • Coordinate and own the User Acceptance Testing phases of project delivery, including the development of UAT test scripts and the coordination of bug resolution
  • Assist data migration activities in conjunction with business units and external vendors
  • Develop ERD diagrams and process maps as appropriate
  • Project Management responsibilities as required.

What you will bring

  • Relevant business analysis experience in:
    • System development projects
    • Documenting procedures and developing process maps
    • Coordination and facilitation of testing, developing test plans and managing end user testing
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously across multiple initiatives
  • Ability to communicate strategic and technical concepts with clarity to stakeholders across all levels of technical competence
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional presentation and ability to represent the organisation to external clients and suppliers
  • Flexible and adaptable team playing attitude
  • Self-motivation and a drive for results
  • Willingness to travel to both regional and interstate locations
  • Advanced ability in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Financial Systems preferred
