Ballarat Hospice Care Inc. (BHCI) is a home-based palliative care service, caring for people living with a life limiting illness and supporting their family and carers. BHCI staff and volunteers work within our values framework which focus on loyalty, honesty, trust, willingness, kindness, respect and skill.

We are currently seeking a suitability qualified and experienced professional to undertake the role of Community Engagement Manager

The role is part time (0.8 FTE) and is contracted for 2 years. This role will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator which is also being recruited at this time.

The role will require you to have:

• A genuine interest in working within this sector and be comfortable with death and dying
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, emotional maturity and professionalism and
• A collaborative approach to working effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
