Leading not-for-profit, Ballarat Foundation United Way is seeking a Donor Engagement Coordinator who will build relationships with existing donors and attract new donors to support our vision to increase philanthropy and reduce disadvantage within the community we serve.

The position is permanent part-time with flexible arrangements to be negotiated with the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated work history showing achievements from building strong and successful relationships with donors or partners.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Marketing and Fundraising Manager, the donor engagement coordinator will have the opportunity to implement new strategies and capitalise on the strong existing foundations built during the past 35 years.

Do you have what it takes? You’ll need to demonstrate:

  • How you will effectively engage with donors and build strong relationships
  • Ability to engage and influence a wide range of people from different backgrounds – both internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively
  • Passion for building philanthropy and the community you are serving
  • You will work within a team committed to and aligned to its values. Your work will be varied, challenging and rewarding.
