The Opportunity

Opportunity to join the multidisciplinary team in Medical Ward 2 who strive for excellence in the delivery of mixed adult medical nursing care for general medical admissions, with a focus on cardiac care. The ward consists of twenty general medical, one nuclear medicine and four higher acuity beds.

Selection criteria

  • Mandatory: Eligibility to practice as an Enrolled Nurse, i.e. current registration with AHPRA.
  • Mandatory: Demonstrated commitment and ability to practice within a patient centred care environment.
  • Mandatory: Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Mandatory: Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to improving performance and risk management.
  • Mandatory: Demonstrated ability to plan and manage clinical activities as an EN.
