Website Developer - IRGSC - Indonesia

Australian Volunteers Program
  • Use your IT skills to volunteer for an institute in Indonesia
  • 12 month assignment
  • Living and accommodation allowance provided

The Australian Volunteers Program is an Australian government funded initiative that has placed skilled volunteers overseas for over 60 years. Our volunteer assignments are driven by local objectives and needs of our partner organisations, located in 26 countries across Indo-Pacific.

As an Australian volunteer, we will support you by providing return airfares, living and accommodation allowances, health and security support, pre-departure and in-country training, and support for partners and children as well as people living with a disability.

The organisation

The Institute of Resource Governance and Social Change (IRGSC) needs a volunteer website developer to help increase its communication capacity through the organisation’s website. The IRGSC is designed to be a fully functioning think tank in 2022. The organisation is currently setting up the organisational foundations to achieve this goal.

The role

  • You’ll be developing the IRGSC website, improving staff capacity to develop and update the website and strengthening website maintenance processes and procedures.
  • You’ll need relevant qualifications in website design or development, information technology, computer science or another relevant field; and experience in IT infrastructure development and maintenance.
  • You’ll gain the experience of contributing to the developing of a new social change in Indonesia, plus the opportunity to live and work in Kupang, the cosmopolitan capital of the Nusa Tenggara Province in West Timor.
