The Tourism Authority of Kiribati (TAK) was established in 2019 under the aegis of the Ministry of Information, Communication, Transport and Tourism Development and is governed by the Kiribati Tourism Act 2018. TAK is mandated by the Government of Kiribati to lead the country’s tourism development and promotional program. This includes tourism investment promotion, product development, licensing and standards regulation, training and development, research and statistics and tourism marketing and promotions. TAK aims to promote the sustainable growth of tourism, increase its economic contribution and improve standards of living and wellbeing. The main purpose of the assignment is to assist with the development of an online strategy for the ‘Kiribati Tourism & Hospitality post Covid-19 Protocols for the New Normal’ in the Australian market.

• In this remote based assignment you will support staff on how to create an e-content plan that will position TAK as a source for valid Covid-19 destination travel safety information for Kiribati. You will also assist with developing a guide on how to create positive impact stories.
• To be successful for this assignment you will have a relevant qualification in digital marketing/communications, or website development. You will also bring strong social media management skills.
