About the Partner Organisation: 

The establishment of the Centre for Health Professionals Education Research (CHPER) is an initiative of the Fiji Institute of Pacific Health Research (FIPHR) that aims to inform evidence based learning and teaching modalities and curricula addressing future pandemic resilience. Research in health education will provide opportunities for innovative yet contextual teaching, learning and assessment methods. It is envisioned that the establishment of the Centre for Health Professionals Education Research will address both national and regional issues regarding health education and provide a platform for collaboration and training amongst current and aspiring health professions education.

The engagement of the Research Officer is to assist the establishment and the commencement of CHPER through working with Schools in the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

This assignment will be done remotely.

About the Position: 

• You’ll be strengthening the work of the Research and Innovations in Health Professions Education
• You’ll need a Masters Degree in Public Health or related field
• You’ll gain great experience while supporting health education in Fiji
