Save the Children is a worldwide, non-religious, non-financial, non-political and independent children’s rights organisation that protects and promotes children’s rights in over 120 countries. The organization is realigning to support target communities in the 'new normal' during and after the COVID19 pandemic. New sources of support are needed to build up and secure the funds for project implementation for child protection, education and health. A dynamic person is needed, with skills to proactively explore opportunities to secure funding and mentor SCJM colleagues to maintain these relationships through donor compliance and finding new opportunities. The volunteer will work on new business and proposal development by seeking funding opportunities for both development and humanitarian contexts, as well as support for and strengthening capacities in Country Office.
Allowance: $30
The monthly living allowance enables you to live a modest local lifestyle. Based on the cost of living in a particular country, it covers food, your daily commute, communication and other local costs. It is not set to enable you to meet financial commitments at home, such as a mortgage or a personal loan.
