About the assignment

We’re looking for a Climate and Energy Program Officer who can live and volunteer in Vietnam for 12 months.  Join the Australian Volunteers Program to contribute to sustainable development across East Asia.  

About the Partner Organisation: 

World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of world's largest and most experienced independent conservation organisations. WWF's objectives and mission are to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. This assignment will support the Climate and Energy Practice team in planning, implementing, reporting projects' activities to better achieve their conservation outcomes in Vietnam.

About the Position: 

  • You’ll be providing technical support to Climate and Energy team, and develop proposals relating to climate change adaptation and mitigation with them
  • You’ll need Bachelor's in Energy Management, Climate studies or related field
  • You’ll gain an opportunity to volunteer with an organisation working towards sustainable use of renewable natural resources and promoting reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption in Vietnam
