About the Role

Fantastic opportunity for Speech Pathologists join our school therapy team to provide exceptional speech pathology services to students on the autism spectrum. 

As a Speech Pathologist within our dynamic and skilled interdisciplinary team, you will join a passionate group of Teachers, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Student Wellbeing Facilitators, supporting our students, their families and school staff to enhance participation in everyday roles and environments. This is an amazing opportunity to support children in their learning environment. 

Currently we are seeking two Speech Pathologists for the Brighton School Team: (1) permanent full-time and (2) fixed-term full-time contract until September 2021.

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology 
• Current membership of Speech Pathology Australia
• Proven provision of high quality, evidence-based SP services to children and young people on the spectrum/developmental challenges in an educational setting
• Proven knowledge of child and adolescent development, behaviours and learning
• Experience in the design and implementation of group and individual strategies and programs
• An ability to work and communicate effectively with families and professionals in addressing additional needs of children
