About this Opportunity

We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist with a passion for the development and delivery of learning activities that build workforce capacity and drive continuous improvement.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Working from the competency framework, contribute to the development, maintenance and implementation of staff training plans.
  • Recommend responses to training needs, identified through ongoing monitoring and formal training need analysis.
  • Develop, review and maintain training resources.
  • Facilitate face to face learning and assessments.
  • Evaluate training activities for learner outcomes and experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to practically apply best practice in adult learning.
  • That you share our values and have a passion for our purpose.
  • Significant experience in the development and delivery of a variety of learning activities, including facilitation of group training, 1 on 1 assessments and development of e-learning modules.
  • Highly developed presentations skills, including the ability to engage audience in different settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
