About this Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced full time NDIS Administrator to join the Autism Services Adviser team on a fixed term basis. The Autism Services Advisers provide a centralised entry point for individuals and families, as well as facilitating service growth across the organisation.

Before anything else, you will be passionate about the work we do, have empathy and understanding for the diversity and difference of people, and you will share our values. In this role you’ll:

  • Manage NDIS bookings, understand service agreements and be comfortable liaising with the NDIA
  • Ensure our client database is updated with funding details, manage unresolved claims and complete administrative duties required for the NDIS portal
  • Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide overall administrative support to the Autism Services Adviser team

You’ll be able to demonstrate

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
  • IT proficiency, with proven ability to use MS office and systems for recording data and reporting, with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in the disability sector
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong time management skills and proven ability to meet key performance indicators
  • A desire and ability to strive for quality improvement and excellent customer service

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience and/or knowledge of NDIS processes
  • An understanding of Autism and the services we provide, or a willingness to learn
