About the role:
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive People Administrator to support the daily operations of our small People team. Based out of AWC’s office in Subiaco, Western Australia, the People Administrator will handle a wide range of administrative tasks and ensure the smooth functioning of human resource activities. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, excellent organisational skills and an adept understanding of human resource policies and procedures.
A primary focus for the People Administrator will be to take a driven and dynamic role in the administration and optimisation of our recently implemented human resource information system (ELMO) platform and provide ongoing development and application across AWC’s core functions.
- Complete full employee life cycle HRIS administration tasks including timely employee profile updates
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure HR systems and processes are aligned
- Provide human resources administration assistance including contracts of employment and/or variations
- Ensure consistency in AWC brand including assisting with recruitment advertising campaigns
- Generate HRIS generated reports as required and administration support to the Chief People Officer
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases, prepare reports, and handle administrative tasks related to HR processes, such as payroll and personnel files.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in administration
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for conservation and a commitment to our organisation's mission.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent, full-time position ideally to start January/February 2025 for the successful candidate.
