The Program Coordinator focuses on organising and reporting on several program activities as part of the ‘Fostering Integration’ grant the Australian Syrian Charity is currently working with. The program is funded until end of May 2020 and includes at the moment piano lessons and marching band rehearsal for children and young people, as well as English classes and one-on tutoring for adults.

In this role, you will be the person responsible for the smooth running of activities and the accurate reporting of program outcomes. You will be a highly organised and self-motivated individual who has previous experience in administration, office and/or program support, program evaluation and report writing. You will have a good understanding of managing databases, implementing and maintaining administrative processes and policies, event planning, communications and community engagement. Crucial to your success in this role will be your ability to thrive in a small, volunteer-run environment that will often require you to apply a creative and proactive approach.
