As the Digital & Communications Coordinator, your role is to proactively support and coordinate Australians Together’s (AT) Communications and Marketing Strategy in order for us to deliver on our strategic plans and goals. In this role you’ll focus on creating relevant and engaging content and direct communications with our audience. The various channels include collateral creation, AT promotion and advertising, and the production of digital content and resources. You’ll increase audience engagement through our Social Media and Website platforms, using analytics to continually improve your effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to make a difference with their exceptional writing and communication skills.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or related field.
  • A great communicator with excellent copywriting and storytelling abilities across a range of channels and platforms.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a communications role
  • Experience with coordinating and analysing direct marketing and social media campaigns
  • Knowledge and experience in digital marketing including email marketing and automation, digital advertising, social media, best practice web UX and SEO.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with high competency managing various competing project priorities
  • Some technical proficiency in CMS platforms

Desirable

  • Experience monitoring and analysing results against key metrics.
  • Experience working with Indigenous or other non-dominant cultural communities
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
