Australian Marist Solidarity (AMS) is the not for profit international international agency for the work of Australian Marists throughout Asia and the Pacific Islands.

AMS supports education and community development activities, working with the people in the Asia/Pacific region to empower children and young people to reach their brightest potential through formal education pathways, learning centres, skills and vocational training.

Last year, AMS provided support to over 14,000 children and young people through 64 projects in 19 countries.

The Role

You will be the link between our small, passionate and committed team in Brisbane and AMS project partners who are working at a grassroots level across the Asia Pacific region.

You will support prospective partners through our project application process, coordinate the internal partnership consideration process and then manage all reporting requirements from our approved partners. You will maintain regular communication with our project partner representatives, seek to provide capacity building or support where necessary and ensure that AMS partners meet our compliance obligations.

Skills Required

You're highly organised, self-motivated and results driven, with experience in international development. You have a passion for social justice and bring excellent communication and relational skills, together with:

  • Creativity, resourcefulness, adaptability
  • Project delivery skills, working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Well-developed writing and analysis
  • An understanding of core monitoring, evaluation and learning concepts
  • Ability to work well in a team but also independently
  • The ability to work within a faith based, Christian ethos environment
