Fundraising Manager - Philanthropy and Grants

Next25

Role

The non-profit organisation Next25 is seeking a Fundraising Manager to become a pivotal part of our External Engagement team, working closely with our Director of Programs to expand our fundraising and income-generation capacity and success. The Fundraising Manager’s key roles will be to:

  • Identify new fundraising opportunities – including philanthropy, crowdfunding, sponsorships, and partnerships
  • Identify opportunities to sell our products and services
  • Write applications and acquittals
  • Manage our CRM and the administration of the above

The Fundraising Manager will work closely with our External Engagement team, which currently comprises the Director of Programs, Senior Advisor Communications, Communications Officer, and the Executive Director.

At Next25, fundraising staff work closely with our program staff to ensure the funding we receive supports our work in the most effective ways. This means that fundraising staff can see the outcomes of their work and the impact programs have towards our mission. We are an expanding yet close-knit team with low staff turnover.

Who is Next25?

We are Australia’s only non-partisan, non-profit organisation working to ensure our country maximises and shares its success across current and future generations. We know Australia can make the future it wants only with three strong pillars in place that (1) describe the desired future, (2) assess the future-making system’s capability, and (3) fix the system where it is found wanting. However, from deep engagement with the public, decision-makers, and experts, we have learned that each of these three pillars is weak. Next25 is focused on strengthening them. Next25 is a tax-exempt, non-profit company limited by guarantee and registered as a charity with the ACNC. For more information, please visit next25.org.au.
