Why this role?

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to manage all aspects of Here for the Game (HFTG) project pilot in South Australia who will be responsible for ensuring high quality delivery of the pilot program, including meeting funder milestones within project budgets.

You day-to-day activities will include managing relationships with community stakeholders (sports clubs) and supporting them to adopt and implement HFTG. Clubs will progress through the HFTG program criteria, assessing their environment against specific program standards and committing to a tailored plan of action to change gambling/sports betting behaviours and practices. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day project management of the project, including internal and external reporting and quality improvement utilising existing project management procedures and artefacts.

Who are we looking for?

Experience and skills that will set you up for success in this role include:

  • Experience in successfully delivering community-focused health promotion programs
  • Demonstrated impeccable community and program development skills
  • Have demonstrated experience in project management and execution, stakeholder engagement and risk management.
  • Knowledge of the South Australian community sporting and local government landscapes.
  • Sound understanding of research, evidence & evaluation, and the requirements of working in pilot programs
  • Clear and adaptable communication style.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, health promotion or community development.
