The Manager - Evidence is responsible for ensuring the ADF has a robust and comprehensive position of evidence relating to prevention and reduction of harms associated with alcohol and other drugs (AOD) across all its work. This role will play a key role in ensuring the ADF is a credible evidence-based organisation by ensuring high quality and robust evidence is used to inform program, policy, advocacy, resources, publications, and content development in the development for internal and external use.
The position will also play a key leadership role in managing strategic relationships with funders, research organisations, government, peak bodies and service providers from the AOD sector. The larger oversight responsibility areas include Evidence, Leadership and Management, Governance and Quality Assurance and Financial Management and Reporting.
This exceptional role requires a post graduate qualified professional with extensive demonstrated experience in the synthesis and summary of peer reviewed and grey literature into integrated findings in a systematic and transparent manner to inform program, policy, advocacy, resources and publications. Additionally, you will need possess demonstrated experience and skills in the development of key documents relating to research and evidence and the implementation of quality assurance and governance processes. Leading a multi-disciplinary team it is essential that the successful candidate has demonstrated experience in research and or practice in the AOD sector.
