Australian Red Cross is recruiting Urban Water and Sanitation engineers to join our international aid worker (delegate) register.
The Water and Sanitation delegate works within the operations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and accordingly provides humanitarian assistance to populations affected by conflict and armed violence.
The ICRC has a need for engineers with specific skills in the implementation of water and sanitation services in urban settings (water, waste water, energy and construction) and the ability to assess plan and manage projects in those contexts.
For an overview of the activities undertaken by Urban Water and Sanitation delegates (often referred to as Water and Habitat within the ICRC) we encourage you to watch the following videos:

If you possess the skills and behavioural capabilities outlined in the below job profile, are committed to the ethics and principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and are available to deploy internationally, we encourage you to apply.
