Red Cross Migration Support Programs (MSP) is responsible for coordinating, leading and supporting complex national and local programs. The overall objective is to provide effective and responsive services to people who are vulnerable as a result of migration, such as those separated by war and disaster, people who been trafficked or are experiencing or at risk of forced marriage, refugees, asylum seekers and immigration detainees.
The MSP Regional Manager reports to the MSP Lead ACT /NSW and is critical in leading work to address MSP priorities in the Murray Riverina Region. This includes (but not exclusively) the Humanitarian Settlement Program and The Mental Health Community Living Support Refugees program outcomes. This position is responsible for best practice and continuous improvement within the operations, which includes compliance against contractual and funding outcomes, effectively managing and developing complex case work teams and volunteers as well as being responsible for goals and priorities being achieved through effective, agile and scalable service delivery and community development and capacity building approaches.
