About the role:

This role will focus on supporting the Head of Legal and the Property team by providing legal advice in relation to our property footprint across the country.

You will be a trusted partner to organisational colleagues, adding value by focusing on the projects and legal risks that are most important to the organisation now, and into the future.

What you’ll bring:

• Significant experience in an in-house or legal practice environment
• Demonstrated experience in property transactions, including contracts of sale, leases, expressions of interest and vendor statements
• Demonstrated understanding of the relevant legislative and compliance requirements impacting property across all states and territories
• Experience in leasing of commercial, office and retail properties and service contracts relevant to property transactions
• Highly developed client management skills, including ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and to negotiate best possible outcomes
• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a transactional focused team
• Well-developed analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities and ability to manage multiple and complex tasks
• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree in Law and current practicing certificate required
