Humanitarian Delegate, Arabic Speaking - International Aid Worker

Australian Red Cross is recruiting Humanitarian Delegates with Arabic language skills to join our international aid worker (delegate) register.

The Humanitarian Delegate is a generalist role which works within the operations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and accordingly provides humanitarian assistance to populations affected by conflict and armed violence.

His/her duties focus either on planning and negotiation required to enable access to field and operations, this may include detention and protection related activities. The ICRC fosters an integrative approach and the Delegate works in close collaboration with other relevant ICRC departments (e.g. Health, Economic Security, Communication, etc…) to achieve their objectives.

For our current and future operations, we are looking for new motivated Humanitarian Delegates with fluency in Arabic.
