About the Role

As an Employment Consultant, you will provide one on one support to assist people to achieve their career goals.  You will work with a wide range of clients to tailor individual support to meet their needs. You will mentor your clients, provide coaching, guidance, motivation and assist with job preparation skills.

You may already be working in the Employment Services field, or you might have an interest in working in a role where you can work closely with people and make a positive difference through your work. This is an opportunity for someone with a strong, positive customer service focus who has an interest in working with people from different backgrounds and life experiences. You may have experience in a customer facing role, or have experience working with people to overcome challenges. Or you may have personal experience of mental health and recovery. 

What you will bring 

• A strong client focus
• Previous experience working in mental health or disability services, or have lived experience of mental health and recovery
• Passion and drive for helping people achieve their goals
• High level organisation and administration skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases
