Remote / Work from Home
Australian Red Cross is part of the world's largest humanitarian movements seeking to build a better society based on people helping people. We strongly believe that how we work is as important as what we do. We put humanity in action.
Red Cross is working alongside the Victorian Government to implement a pilot program providing support to people in Victoria on temporary and provisional visas, as well as people who may not currently hold a valid visa to increase their access and understanding of existing COVID-19 vaccination services. The program will run for a period of 3-months with the aim to support people to better understand and access COVID-19 vaccination services.
As the Community Connector, you will be responsible for building collaborative relationships and partnerships within the sector and community to promote the support available through the Connections for Access pilot, along with other supports available. This will involve providing information and delivering community access information sessions to build the capacity of Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community leaders and other community groups to better understand COVID-19 vaccination services and how these can be accessed.
A Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Know that the work you do directly contributes to preventing and reducing the vulnerability of migrants in Victoria.
You can access flexible working arrangements and generous salary packaging options that can increase your take home pay by paying certain expenses using pre-tax dollars up to $15,900 a year.
