About Red Cross

Australian Red Cross is part of the world's largest humanitarian movements seeking to build a better society based on people helping people. We strongly believe that how we work is as important as what we do. We put humanity in action.

About the Program

Red Cross is working alongside the Victorian Government to implement a pilot program providing support to people in Victoria on temporary and provisional visas, as well as people who may not currently hold a valid visa to increase their access and understanding of existing COVID-19 vaccination services. The program will run for a period of 3-months with the aim to support people to better understand and access COVID-19 vaccination services.

This will involve providing information and delivering community access information sessions to build the capacity of Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community leaders and other community groups to better understand COVID-19 vaccination services and how these can be accessed.

A Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement for this role.

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Complex problem solving, conceptual and analytical skills
  • Proven capacity to be adaptive and resilient and to work independently in a self-directed manner, and also as a member of a team

Why work with us?
