Australian Doctors International (ADI) demonstrates its commitment to upholding the universal right to health care by working with local partners to provide and strengthen health services in rural and remote communities in Papua New Guinea.

Our office is located in Seaforth, Sydney, although the majority of time will be working from home.

Part-time role, number of days negotiable.

The Responsibilities of the role:

  • Project documentation support for PNG programs – tracking, maintenance – all stages of project life cycle
  • Assist with data collection and other M&E tasks
  • Assist with development of documentation for accreditation
  • Support to update/maintain project briefing docs
  • Support finance/budget related tasks for outreach trips and training in PNG
  • Ad hoc research tasks on public health issues
  • Report and presentation writing/preparation
  • Coverage – all locations ADI works in PNG
  • Attend programs team meetings via zoom

Position Criteria:

  • Public health degree or International Development
  • Proven high level time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and email, writing skills and presenting skills
  • Takes initiative and has a “can do” attitude
