Financial barriers can put an end to many students’ dreams of attending university. Scholarships can make their dreams a reality. Our Indigenous Scholarships Portal connects students to scholarships.

For Indigenous students, who are often the first in their family to attend university, the sheer volume of information across multiple locations is overwhelming and often difficult to navigate. The Portal is a one-of-a-kind central repository of scholarship listings available to Indigenous students. It allows students to find scholarships and apply directly through our online system.

In this three-month contract role (3 days per week), you will work on a range of tasks including managing a handover of knowledge and expertise, creating a handbook for the Portal functionality, maintaining Portal listings and responding to scholarship enquiries. We are concurrently undertaking a rebuild of the Portal and there is scope for involvement in that project.

You will be tech savvy and won’t be phased by learning the technical side of Portal operations (‘looking under the hood’). You’ll have great interpersonal skills and be able to work with a range of stakeholders as well as solid written communication. Attention to detail is a must and you’ll be adept at working the plan combined with being flexible enough to response to emerging needs.
