The Outreach workers effectively divert young people from becoming involved in the criminal justice system by providing evening transport from the Brisbane CBD and Logan areas where young people are meeting, to a place of safety; most often home with parents or other family members. This ongoing contact with often the same young people allows us to link them into case management services to address whatever they identify they would like help with in their life. The Outreach and Support Worker directly assists young people during outreach coordination to access a coordinated wrap-around suite of services with the aim to achieve behavioural changes and engagement with ATSICHS Youth Case Managers.
Effectively identify the needs of young people in delivering targeted and goal driven supports that focuses on their genuine needs and aspirations.
Apply through our ATSICHS portal.
